Yorkshire Wildlife Park Visit

12/07/10

A selection of student thoughts on their day at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park.

Y8 and Y9 Orange Pathway students went on the visit to Yorkshire Wildlife Park on Wednesday 30 June 2010 as a reward for good behaviour and earning points over a period of 6 weeks.  We left the Academy with Mrs Ward and Mr Jeffery at 11.15am and came back at about 2.45pm. We saw meerkats, goats, lemurs, wild river hogs, racoon dogs, wallabies, llamas, birds, lions and ostriches.  James Derriman

Yorkshire Wildlife Park was brilliant with all the animals. They had meerkats, racoon dogs, wallabies, llamas and loads more. My favourite animal was the meerkats because they acted like they were pop stars or film stars with their poses.

When I went to the Wildlife Park, we saw loads of animals. The best animal was the meerkat. The meerkats are good attention-seekers. They stand on their rock and beg.
