Mr Steed - Executive Principal

Mr Steed has 20+ years’ experience of teaching in education. He has 13 years effective senior leadership experience as Vice Principal, Principal and Executive Principal (and four years as an Advanced Skills teacher supporting school improvement across Northamptonshire).

Mr Steed has a track record of leading highly effective improvement strategies to raise standards for students of all abilities, moving his last school as Executive Principal from an OFSTED inadequate grade to an OFSTED good grade in three years. He has been a school governor at both primary and secondary schools and most recently merged a primary and secondary governing body to move forward rapidly the quality of education in both schools, moving towards a 4-19 curriculum experience. 

As Academy Improvement Lead / Regional Director in a large national MAT, Mr Steed was involved in curriculum redesign, Multi Academy Trust curriculum based budgeting and across the suite of 11 secondary schools, introduced a standardised approach to quality assurance, assessment and data tracking in conjunction with the Director of Education.
