Maltby Academy welcomed Year 5 and 6 parents/carers and children into the Academy for Open Evening.

Visitors enjoyed a spectacular evening visiting departments which had been transformed into different themes from Pirates of the Caribbean to Harry Potter. They also attended a presentation from the Principal.

Visitors walked the red carpet to enter the Academy where they were greeted by stilt walkers, face painters and a magician. There was also the opportunity to take part in the green screen and enjoy a drink, popcorn and sweets!

The atmosphere last night was wonderful, and it was great to be able to welcome the community back into the Academy again
and meet the future students.
