A Level students visit London to see first hand how the subjects they are studying is used in a real life setting.
Y12 and 13 Computing and Business students have visited London to see how Business, ICT and Economics are used in real life industries.
Day one saw the group visit Arsenal's Emirates Stadium to see how ICT was used throughout their stadium and the students listened to commentary about how the stadium was financed when it was built. They also visited the Musuem of Brands, Packaging and Advertising to see how it has developed over the past 100 years. The students also did some sightseeing at some of London's most famous landmarks.
Following an evening meal at the Hard Rock Café and a game of bowling, the second day was a trip to Thorpe Park and a workshop to see how Business, ICT and Economics influences the day to day running of the theme park.
