Well done to the Maltby Academy House Captains, who competed in the
Top Dog Democracy Challenge!
On Wednesday 14th October 2015, six of the Maltby Academy House Captains attended a democracy competition where they had to highlight areas to improve a fictional village and manage a budget whilst prioritising and tackling the main issues for the community.
They competed against five other schools in the borough for a chance to win a trip to London to visit the Houses Of Parliament.
The students worked extremely well together, delivered an excellent presentation to over 60 young people and adults and have been invited to attend Rotherham Town Hall to meet with the Mayor of Rotherham.
