Student Name: Kristofer Eggortson 

Profile: Kris decided to move over from Iceland and live in the UK to join our Sheffield FC Football Scholarship Programme at the age of just 16! When Kris first come over to the UK he spoke very limited English but soon adapted.

On completion of Kris’s two years of being part of the Sheffield FC Scholarship Programme at Maltby Academy, where he achieved a triple distinction in Sport, this gained him a Football Scholarship in the US to further develop his football while continuing with his studies.

Kris studied at Barton Community College for two years and he is graduating from Fort Hays University with a predicted 3.7-3.8 GPA which is about average of 90%.

Kris played football professionally for a couple of years in Iceland and was one game from making Europa qualification through the Cup in Iceland but they lost the final. He is currently injured with a 18 month long injury so he is focusing hard on school.

Kris is studying to become a clinical psychologist and in about 4 years he will have his doctorate in clinical psychology. He is also currently studying to become a captain of a fishing boat alongside the psychology.
